Safeguarding
Alchemy School will be expecting to be provided with any relevant safeguarding information. We will will work with the placing authorities and/or placing schools should students fail to attend or we have concerns for their safety.
Reintegration procedures
Should students be placed with us due to an exclusion, staff from Alchemy School will liaise with the referring school to ensure a smooth transition. Parents and Carers as well as the student will be expected to meet with the Head of School before the student re-joins their parent school.
Should it be deemed that a student on roll with Alchemy School needs some time out or a different way of working for a while, this decision will be made with parent/carers and a reintegration package put in place.
Information sharing
Alchemy Schools will ask to be provided with a student’s emergency contact details and any medical needs/allergies, as well as any SEND, behaviour, and any other specific needs. Information will be shared with other agencies in line with our GDPR policy and guidance should the need arise.
Student expectations
The appearance and behaviour of our students as they travel to and from school is important, as they are acting as ambassadors for Alchemy School. Any misdemeanours reported regarding the students will be referred to the Head of School.
