Thinking about the future at
Kite College Open Day
21st November 2022
Alchemy students visited Kite College on Thursday the 17th with their school staff and the schools employability and careers tutor. Kite College provides young people with an Educational Health Care Plan the opportunity to be able to continue with their Post-16 education and training within a supported environment.
Students had the opportunity to visit the newly refurbished centre that boasts new Motor Vehicle, Hair & Beauty, Information Technology, Construction (Bricklaying, Heating & Plumbing, Carpentry & Multi-Skills) and Life Skills learning zones.
What makes Kite different to other colleges is their experience in supporting young people who may find main stream colleges overwhelming and offers them the kind of pastoral support they have enjoyed at Alchemy Schools.
If parents want to visit with their young person Kite’s next open day dates are: Wednesday 22nd March 2023 and Wednesday 28th June 2023.
The hair and beauty room was really cool. I can’t wait to try practise some of the skills I have seen back at school.
