Wizarding Wonders
Harry Potter Day
5th May 2023
May 2nd marked International Harry Potter Day. Both staff and students are sorted into the famous Hogwarts houses and have been working to achieve house points throughout the year.
On Tuesday, all students put their wizarding knowledge to the test and competed in several rounds of quizzes. Bonus points were achieved for anybody who wore house colours or merchandise. Whilst the points were neck and neck at one stage, Ravenclaw, narrowly took the lead and were crowned overall International Alchemy HP Day champions.
The race continues for the yearly house cup, and students are working hard to achieve points throughout their lessons. The penultimate competition in the summer, will include houses going head-to-head for sports day.
So, will it be the courageous Gryffindors, the loyal Hufflepuffs, the wise Ravenclaws or the ambitious Slytherins who will be crowned the 22/23 house champions?
