Ways we can help
Emotional Wellbeing Support for parents
Alchemy Schools prides itself in ensuring that both students and their families are supported in times of difficulty. Our Emotional Health and Wellbeing (EHWB) team also work directly with parents. This may include home visits, telephone calls or emails.
Parenting Children with additional needs can be challenging, and we recognise that at times this can feel overwhelming.
Our Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) and Emotional Health and Wellbeing Team (EHWB) are able to:
- Provide impartial parenting advice specific to student’s needs
- Discuss support from local groups for parents and students
- Link students in with local holiday clubs
- Make referrals for mental health support for parents
- Support with completing forms such as those for student’s neurodevelopmental assessments, DLA forms, Carer’s Allowance forms, Transport applications etc.
- Issuing food bank vouchers
- Apply for emergency essentials
- Making referrals to Family Funds
Please contact via email on enquries@alchemyschools.co.uk for support in this area.
